How each beta works

Steam Open beta

PC · Steam

The Steam beta receives updates earlier so new features can be tested before their public release. Everyone is welcome and no code is required.

  1. Right-click Easy Red 2 in your Steam library.
  2. Choose Properties.
  3. Open the Betas tab.
  4. Select the public beta branch.
Xbox Registration required

Xbox

Xbox beta access is managed through a device allow-list. Register the Xbox network device ID of a console that already owns Easy Red 2.

  • Being added to or removed from the Xbox beta may take a few days.
  • Access and early updates are not guaranteed permanently.
  • The beta may not always be ahead of the public version.
  • Please report important issues found while testing.

There is currently no public beta program for PlayStation or Nintendo Switch.

Find your device ID

On your Xbox, press the Xbox button and go to:

Profile & system›Settings›System›Console info

Copy the value named Xbox network device ID. Do not use the Serial number, Console ID or Global device ID.

Manage your beta access

Enter the 16-character Xbox network device ID. Letters are limited to A–F.

Repeated or automated searches may be temporarily blocked.

Requests are recorded immediately, but being added to or removed from the Xbox beta may take a few days. Your device ID is used only to manage Xbox beta access and is retained until it is removed or the program ends. Anyone who knows the complete device ID can manage its registration.
